LoveMomma Post 4

 LoveMomma

In this photo I am in my 7th month of my pregnancy (Day 7 of 9) with the new LoveMomma body. I have to say I am impressed with how the pregnancy belly looks. It is so much nicer than just using sliders to try to make yourself look pregnant.

Today I want to talk about alphas and using the hud to make your alphas work for your body. The body is BOM. It does not come with alpha slicers on the hud that you can use to make your clothes fit properly which means you need to wear alpha layers that are included with your clothes.

Now the HUD has a special feature for when using your alpha layers. With this body, its not as simple as putting on the alpha layer and you are good to go. There is a few things you need to know about the hud and using your alphas.

We are going to be focusing on this part of the hud today and what it means and how it works.

The Hud offers 3 options for each section of your body, top, bottom and belly. I'll get to the belly part later but for now lets talk about top and bottom and wearing your clothes!

In my photo I am wearing my new outfit called LM218-Heart Dress by Midnyte Creations. The top part of this dress is mesh and includes an alpha which is like clothing that you wear with your outfit to prevent your body from clipping through the top. Now, with this hud, if the section under TOP is solid white, that means my alpha is not turned on. As you can see in the image below, I have the hud with Top solid and you can see where part of my arm clips through my shirt.

How do I fix this? I'm wearing my alpha that came with the top but its not working! Oh no what do I do?

This is simple. Click on the Top on your hud. The first click you will notice that its halfway faded.

This is the 'Blend' option. As you can see in the photo below, it did hide my arm from clipping through the shirt, but ugh, the alphas on my hair are showing! Now I'm going to have to change my hair or change the style just so I can wear this dress....

Wait! No I don't! I can click on the HUD again under Top for the Mask option which makes the white fully faded from the hud as seen below....
You will notice I have both bottom and top fully faded out right now.
When I click this Mask option on my hud look what happens with my hair....
Yay! I'm alpha'd and don't have parts clipping through my clothes, my hair is not doing the weird alpha thing so I don't have to change it!

You do this same thing for your bottom section as well to alpha out your legs if you are wearing mesh pants. I am currently wearing BOM pants.... but your bottom is showing the Mask option, why? I am wearing a lower alpha for my feet to work with my shoes so I need to use the hud to alpha out my feet as well.

Now let's talk about the belly. When you purchase the body it includes an alpha called Belly Transparent Layer. When you wear this it allows you to see inside of your belly to see the fetus as it grows. So again, the solid white on the hud means that its 'off'. The semi-white means its blended and the fully faded means its masked. So lets take a look at what that looks like for each one.

As you can see, the solid (first level) turns the alpha off so you do not have any transparencies on your body. The 2nd level - semi trans gives you a light transparency that allows you to see your fetus as its growing, and finally the 3rd level - transparent gives a clear round window into your belly to look inside and see your fetus. This works the same way with your clothing alphas when you wear them.

I hope someone finds this information useful when trying to put on clothes or to see their baby using the new LoveMomma body!
